Our Program
Westside Swimming's programs feature World Best Practice in several areas:
- excellent teachers with a first class training system
- small, graded classes
- progressive, age-appropriate activities
- on-deck supervisors for quality control
- specialised facility and equipment, designed to enhance the teaching-learning process
- a reward system with full-colour certificates
- warm water in a controlled environment
The result is a virtual 'aquatic child development centre'.
Lessons are designed to provide individual attention while maximising practice time. This is achieved by having a low student-to-teacher ratio in ability-grouped classes.
Classes run from 30 minutes (infants and learn-to-swim) to 45-60 minutes (stroke development)
The SLOWER you go, the FASTER & BETTER you learn
... that is: in an unforced environment, you teach the developmentally appropriate techniques - until they are adequately mastered - before you introduce more advanced skills.
